6:00 - 6.10 Introduction
A quick catchup on user group related things.
6:15-7:10 Dublin Overview
Tony Meleg will be joining us from the Dublin Team at Redmond. He will be discussing some of the advances on the Dublin project since the last team milestones. Tony will also give us an update around Dublin based on things that happened at TechEd 2009. There should be some demos in this session.
7:30 - 8.30 Q & A with John Plummer
John will be hosting a Q&A session where we can discuss some of the topics in the SOA/BPM space. Please feel free to send any questions in advance as this would give John an opportunity to prepare for some of the more difficult questions. Also feel free to bring up any on the day :-)
We will try to organise some swag for the best question.
Here is some background on John:
“Been with Microsoft UK for nearly 10 years with pretty much all of those working in what is now known as the Application Platform team as a TSP Architect. My team provides specialist product knowledge around SQL and BizTalk workloads. So I’ve been around BizTalk since it was just a Jumpstart toolkit and been here for all the releases of the product from 2000 onwards. My main activity is primarily pre-sales technical engagement for EPG (Enterprise & Partner Accounts) in the UK, and these days it spans both workloads (I have a history prior to MS as a Sybase DBA). Generally this involves Architectural workshops, Functional PoC’s and Scalability labs as well as liaison with various product teams Prior to MS, I worked for an ERP vendor and also spent some time in Investment Banking”
